Adam and Eve: A Parable

May 3, 2011

Adam and Eve: A Parable

What is the story of Adam and Eve about? Do they represent someone or something? In this article we will explore this topic and base our conclusion on what the scriptures reveal. I have been taught all my life that Adam and Eve we’re the progenitors of the human race. But what does the scriptures reveal concerning these two? Is that all there is to this story? Is Adam and Eve the father and mother of mankind? Is this biologically possible? Do white couples create black children or vice versa? Did God at first allow incest in order to populate the earth with human kind? How does an unchanging God accomplish this change? God's law states clearly that incest, a biblically defined term, is sinful. If a thing is sinful today it was always sinful. If it was not sinful to begin with it cannot become sinful. Is God then a liar? Or does man invent his own doctrines in an attempt to explain the things he clearly doesn't understand?

It is claimed by many today that in the beginning God gave man (Adam and Eve) the ability to produce multiple racial offspring. No proof, scriptural or otherwise, is provided with said claim, and cannot be seeing the scriptures make no such claim. Modern day science (biology) as well as common sense dictate otherwise. This is simply the tactics used by men to explain a story they do not understand, being carnal minded men rather than spiritual men. They claim to be a spiritual people and yet cannot hear what the spirit says. Thus they create the most ridiculous explanations. They claim that at some point in time after the population of the earth had reached sufficient numbers men lost the ability to produce anything other than a copy of themselves and that it also became sinful to marry your sister or ant other close relative. Ask them who Cain married and you'll almost always receive a blank stare. They have no idea. I hope to cover this topic in a future article or video. Keep in mind the scriptures speak of two Adams. The first mentioned in Genesis 1 and the second mentioned in Genesis 2. Modern day apologist argue that God repeats this story in chapter two with added details, supposedly for clarification. This is not a sufficient explanation.

This story starts out with just Adam,

Genesis 2:7-8

“7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. 8
And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.”

It was only later God created woman for a help meet for man.

Genesis 2:18

“And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.”

For the laymen reading we will define the word help meet used in the original Greek.

Outline of Biblical Usage

1) help, succour

a) help, succour

b) one who helps

This word simply means one who helps. But the question is “help with what?” Let’s first look at how this woman was created.

Genesis 2:21-22

“And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.”

I was taught from a very young age that men had one less rib than women, per this story. After all, God is never said to have replaced this rib with a new one. That’s a lie. You can look it up; don’t take my word for it. With that said we can move on. Who is this man and this woman? In the scriptures we read of another man whose side is pierced in this same fashion. This man is Jesus Christ. The piercing of Christ side is the only correlation to Adam’s experience anywhere in scripture. Christ side was pierced while hanging on the tree. This was done to ensure his death (John 19). In the scriptures we read of Lazarus whom Christ told his disciples,

John 11:11

“These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.”

The disciples then replied,

John 11:12

“Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.”

The scripture then explains,

John 11:13-14

“Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. 14Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.”

Lazarus was dead, but Christ had used the word “sleep” metaphorically so they didn’t understand. In the book of Daniel, God says to Daniel,

Daniel 12:13

“But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.”

Was God telling Daniel he was going to take a nap? I think not. God here uses the same metaphor Christ used in John 11. So then rest or sleep doesn’t necessarily mean “rest” or “sleep" in a literal sense. The scriptures proclaim,

1 Corinthians 15:20

“But now is Christ risen from the dead, [and] become the firstfruits of them that slept.”

Is this passage speaking of those who are “sleeping?” No! This passage is speaking of death. I hope you can see where I’m going with this. In another place the scriptures say,

1Thessalonians 5:7

“For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.”

Are these people asleep (literally) too? This particular passage is pertaining to sinners, but the word sleep is used “metaphorically.” It doesn’t mean exactly what it says. It has a hidden spiritual message in it. Do all drunks only drink at night or are they also drunken in the day time? I think it’s finally time to reveal these two. The apostle Paul alluded to what I’m about to share. It was only recently I understood it when I came to understand another important piece of this puzzle. Paul said,

Ephesians 5:25-33

“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.”

This all sounds very familiar to anyone who has read Genesis 2. This article will upset most women, and some men. They do not understand their role in this. What I am about to tell you isn’t taught anywhere that I know of. God revealed this to me through fervent study. I will now take apart/divide this passage of scripture in order to apply it to Genesis 2 and 3. First let’s return to Adam. Adam was put into a deep sleep/death. From his side God created a woman. Christ was crucified on a tree, from his side ran blood and water. Without quoting any scripture most, if not all, will agree the church is washed in the blood of Jesus. I’ll bet you sing this song in your Sunday service, or at least that used to be the case, as it is a very popular old Christian song. For the sake of those unfamiliar with this I will post scripture which deals with the cleansing of the blood. Paul said,

Hebrews 9:22

“And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission” KJV

Hebrews 9:22

“In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” NIV

The blood of Christ cleanses the believer, as well as,

Ephesians 5:26

"That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,”

Both the water of the word and the blood of Christ cleanses the believers (church). Adam was put to sleep; Christ was put to death. Both these men gained a wife. It is my contention that Eve represents the Church/Jerusalem, our mother. Allow me to explain. Adam said of Eve,

Genesis 2;23

“And Adam said, This [is] now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man”

Paul said of the church,

Ephesians 5:30

“For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.”

This woman, Eve, was Adams flesh and bones, just as we are Christ flesh and bones. Furthermore, Adam said,

Genesis 3:20

“And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.”

Throughout the scriptures we see people who are considered dead, who are very much alive. These are considered dead in sin. Those who are alive are made so by Christ, spiritually.

Colossians 2:13

“And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;”

Dead in your sins versus being made alive (quickened) in Christ. This is a metaphor obviously. While we we’re sinners we we’re very much “alive.” However, we we’re considered dead due to our sinfulness. Once we are made right with God through his Son Jesus, we are made alive (spiritually). The most interesting part is that, Eve, is said to be the mother of all “living.” I will now ask you to consider who is this speaking of? If all men are dead in their sins then eve must be the mother of the church (those made alive by Christ).Even while a man lives he is conseidered dead so long as he remains in his sinful state. It is only after being made "alive in Christ" that he is said to be among the living (1Cor. 15:22).

Throughout the scriptures we see different women’s names used metaphorically to portray Israel/Jerusalem. For instance,

Matthew 2:18

“In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping [for] her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.”

This is said to correlate to the killing of the first born children in order to kill the new born king, Jesus.

Matthew 2:16-18

“16Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men.17Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying,18In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.”

Rachel here is used metaphorically, not literally, to mean Israel. In other scriptures Sara is used metaphorically to mean Jerusalem.

Galatians 4;22-26

“22For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. 23But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. 24Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. 25For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. 26But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.”

Agar/Hagar, being a slave, represents Jerusalem on earth, in bondage to her/their sin, while Sara represents the heavenly Jerusalem which is free from sin. As Paul said, Sara and Hagar are an allegory. They both are used allegorically/metaphorically.

With all that being said, I believe, Eve, represents the Jerusalem above; just as Sara does, as well as the church, who is said to be the bride of Christ, which is seen in Revelation 21:11. (In this verse Jerusalem is called a “her” metaphorically) Eve is the church/Jerusalem/bride of Christ, the mother of all living. She came out from, or was born from the side of Adam, who represents Christ. Paul spoke of two Adams. The first Paul says,

1 Corinthians 15:44-49

“44it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 45So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”e; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. 46The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. 47The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven. 48As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the man from heaven, so also are those who are of heaven. 49And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall wef bear the likeness of the man from heaven.”

Here, Paul, is speaking of two distinct Adams. The first one is earthy, the second is heavenly. The context preceding this statement is in regards to death, the sowing of the body (burial). The first Adam’s body is the natural body (the body you’re born in). The second one is spiritual ( this is the new body given at the resurrection, as well as when you put on Christ). This is also a spiritual saying which alludes to the spiritual death and resurrection we partake in through repentance, the crucifying of the flesh,  as Paul said in another place,

Romans 6:4

“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

We are figuratively dead and resurrected with Christ, (we have died to sin and put on the “new man,” Christ) but this will also be a literal event at the resurrection when we receive our brand new, sin free spiritual bodies.

1 Corinthians 15:52

“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed”

As well as John,

1John 3:2

“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”

Returning now to 1 Corinthians 15:44-49 Paul says in verse 45,

“So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”

This is recorded in Genesis 2,

Genesis 2:7

“And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

Paul then speaks of the second Adam in the last part of verse 45,

“......the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.”

This last Adam is the spiritual man, born in Christ. The scriptures speak of this spiritual man.

1 Corinthians 2:12-14

“12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.”

Here we see the natural man can receive nothing from the Spirit; that only the spiritual man can, because they are spiritually understood. The spiritual man is, Christ, in you. Without, Christ, you’ll understand nothing spiritual. This is the rebirth that Christ spoke of. Being reborn is becoming spiritual (receiving the Spirit), rather than being the natural man who is naturally blind. The natural man is blind; he can see nothing spiritual or understand it; this is only possible when one receives the Spirit of Christ. Two Adams, one natural, the second spiritual (1 Cor. 15:44-49).

Paul used the creation of Adam from earth to explain the natural man. He used Christ to explain the spiritual. When this natural man “puts on Christ” (Galatians 3:27) he becomes spiritual. Now in order to sum up what we’ve discussed this far, I will reiterate my points. Eve, being from the side of Adam (the spiritual Adam, Christ) was born. Eve, is the Church. Adam, in this capacity, represents Christ. Eve, being the mother of all living, also represents (metaphorically) Jerusalem above; which Paul says is also represented by Sara, who is our mother (Galatians 4:26). This great city of Jerusalem is, metaphorically, several godly women throughout the scriptures, including Rachel, which is mentioned in Matthew 2, as pointed out earlier. Now with this new knowledge let us move on.

                                            The wife

In this section of the article we will discuss the relation of Eve to Adam (Christ) and her duties as his church/bride, and how it applies to her husband on earth. What else does God’s word say about Eve? In Genesis 3 we see God’s rebuke of Eve. God says,

Genesis 3:16

“Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.”

Now, I know what you’re thinking. You have always thought this to mean natural child birth, but what about the woman’s desire for her husband? Do all women desire their husband and do all husbands “rule” over their wives? Absolutely not! This woman's desire is to be ruled by her husband. Women, especially modern women do not have this desire. Especially in this wicked world we live in. God is here speaking of the church, the church’s desire is for HER husband, Christ. As for the child birthing: The church births children in much sorrow, does it not? When these children are reborn/born from above their desire is for their husband, CHRIST! Let us now back up to verse 15. In this verse we see God’s rebuke for Satan (the serpent/adversary). God says,

“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”

I think most, if not all, the readers will be familiar with the story of David and Goliath. David killed this giant and drug his head off to a hill (Calvary) called Golgotha (translated as, the place of the skull). Christ was crucified on this hill, directly above this skull of Goliath. This passage is a prophecy of Christ death; the very first one found in scripture,

“it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”

This verse has nothing to do with the "father of all mankind". It is even commonly accepted that this part of the story is a prophecy concerning Christ, rather than the first man God created. How do we go in this story from the first created man in modern apologetics to Christ?

What about the enmity between the two “seeds?”  If Adam is the father of all men what is this other seed here referred to? The scripture says concerning seeds,

1 John 3:9

“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.”

Every Christian has the “SEED” of Christ in him/her. Everyone else is considered,

John 8:39-44

“39They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. 40But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. 41Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. 42Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.”

Jesus, here is rebuking the Pharisees. He tells them,

“. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.”

Of course this angered them very much. This would be a good time to point out Paul said,

Romans 9:6-8

“Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed”

While these men we’re Israelites by birth, they we’re not the children of the promise. Jesus recognized right away they we’re only fleshy Israelites, not spiritual, which is what makes a man a true Israelite, a true child of Abraham.

Romans 2:29

“But he [is] a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision [is that] of the heart, in the spirit, [and] not in the letter; whose praise [is] not of men, but of God.”

That being said, all those not of the circumcision of the heart, are fleshy people; the enemy of God and his Church, as David said,

Psalm 139:22

“I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.”

This is the enmity between the woman’s seed (church) and the serpents seed (unbelievers). What does this desire for the husband entail? We will now move into the discussion about the relationship between this woman, and her desire for her husband, and how she is to behave in this world. We will also discuss the man’s role in the matter.

Paul said,

1 Timothy 2:11-14

“11Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.15Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety”

Paul here speaks of women and their position in the Church. Women are not allowed to speak. Paul says,

“For Adam was first formed, then Eve.”

Paul here speaks of the order in which the two we’re “formed.” Adam first, Eve second. Christ was literally formed in the womb of Mary (took on flesh). Upon his death his Church was formed/born out of his side through his blood (sacrifice) and water (water of the word, Ephesians 5). Paul then says,

“And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.”

Was Christ deceived (Adam)? No! The woman (Eve/church) was! Thus, the literal women, should not speak, as they represent the deceived woman (Eve/church). Their role is to be silent; they can learn from their husbands; who are a physical representation of Christ on earth. Next Paul says,

“15Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety”

This childbearing spoken of here is in regards to the church, not the individual women, but the whole (congregation). After all, not all women give birth to children. Paul is speaking another mystery. This is the birthing process we go through as the church. Notice the requirements for her is to continue in,

“faith and charity and holiness with sobriety” (verse 15)

Every Christian must continue in these things, not just the women, but the entire woman (church). We, the church, are being birthed, as Paul said,

Galatians 4:19

“My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,”

Paul was speaking to a church who was being brought back under the law. They we’re being deceived by the Jews. He speaks of being in birth pains, as if he himself is giving birth to this particular church, and that is exactly what is meant, metaphorically speaking of course.

Paul further says,

1 Corinthians 14:34-35

“Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 35And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.”

Paul here reiterates his stance on women speaking in the church. Paul says in verse 34 ,

“for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law”

Paul points the reader to “THE LAW.” It is commonly taught today that the law is no longer useful, but here Paul tells us “as also saith the law.” Obviously Paul had different ideas than the current false teachers in the world. Thank God for giving us men like Paul; that spoke truth, in Christ. These women represent the deceived/sinful church, not that the church is filled with sin, just that we are still sinners, everyone of us. Hence, they are not permitted to speak. The entire family unit represents Christ (the husband) and wife/wives (church). For this reason Paul admonishes the wives,

Ephesians 5:22-24

“22Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.”

Wives are to submit to their husbands, “AS UNTO THE LORD.” Will you question God, woman? Paul says,

“For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.”

The “head” of the wife here is used in relation to the church. As Christ is the head of the church, so the husband is the head of the wife. This is a commandment to wives to be obedient in all things to their husbands. Need I say more? Now onto the husbands.

                                          The Husband

Paul says,

Ephesians 5:25-33

“25Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

In verse 25 Paul says,

“25Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;”

I know many men love their wives very much, so this will not pertain to them, necessarily. How many men truly love their wives in this way today? Women today are being abused in many ways. Godly love for your wife/wives requires that you love her as Christ loved his church. Would you die for your wife? Are you leading your wife to Christ as Christ leads the Church to God?

In verse 26 Paul says,

“That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”

Christ washed his church with the water of his word. Are you washing your wife in God’s truth/word? You should be, as well as your children. Don’t you want to present them to Christ without blemish. In another place Paul said,

2 Corinthians 11:2

“For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present [you as] a chaste virgin to Christ.”

As husbands and fathers shouldn’t we want to do the same for our wives, as well as our children? While this passage is concerning wives, we are all (church) children of God. Paul wanted to present Christ bride, the children of God as a “chaste virgin.” Please do so with your children, as it is a godly admonishment.

In verse 28-29,

“28So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:”

Obviously, Paul speaks of the wives being the husbands “own bodies” metaphorically. Christ and his church became one in spirit, not physically/literally. We share Christ spirit; hence we are one with Christ. A man should love his wife in this way. I will add that usually husbands and wives are one in word (meaning they speak the same things) and sometimes thought (think the same way). This all has to do with the oneness spoken of concerning the church. (1 Cor. 1:10, 2 Cor. 13:11, Php. 2:2, 1 Pet.3:8, etc..).

In verse 30,

“For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.”

This has to do with what Adam said,

Genesis 2:23

“And Adam said, This [is] now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.”

Obviously, Eve, wasn’t anymore his “flesh” and “bones” than my wife is mine, in a literal sense. This is a metaphor which refers to the church. I think it is amazing how God declared,

Isaiah 46:10

“Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times [the things] that are not [yet] done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:”

And here in the very first book/chapters of the Bible we can see Christ and his bride/church. Awesome!

In verse 31,

“For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.”

Once again, here we see the church, the body of Christ. The first part of this verse says,

“For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife”

Christ left his Father, our Father in Heaven, as well as his mother, heavenly Jerusalem, and was united with his Church in Spirit. Praise God! Amen! We anxiously await his return to be united forever with him physically.

In verse 32,

“This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.”

Hallelujah! God has shown us this truth. If you wasn’t convinced of this article yet, I hope you are now. Paul’s words here reiterate the truth contained in this article. God has been so gracious to me. I cannot thank him enough for revealing this truth to me.

In verse 33,

“Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.”

Husbands love your wives and wives respect your husbands as the institution of marriage is the very shadow of Christ and his church. There is much more to this than what has been said here. In another article we will discuss issues pertaining to how God defines marriage. We have only discussed the relation of marriage to the church and Christ. Our next article will deal with God’s definition of marriage, according to the scriptures, not man made doctrine. I hope this article has blessed you, the reader, as much as it has me. God bless, and may He show you His truth! Until next time.

In His love,
