I recently received this message on Facebook and thought I'd share it here. This is a message from a woman from a church I use to attend.

Hello Joshua, I request that you respect my decision to come to you through the privacy of facebook messaging. I have no desire to talk to you through the publicity of facebook. I cannot in any way at all, condemn you for your viewpoints regarding your beliefs. I will never judge you on your opinions nor will I get into heated discussions. My firm belief is that where confusion is created, the Lord is not there. In fact the Bible does state that "the devil is the author of confusion." I point no fingers. I have a very solid background in my beliefs and I know that you know who I am and you respected my father for who he was and for what he believed in. Josh, my question to you is~to follow the command found in Matthew 2819, how do you present the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Do you present this beloved Gospel with love or do you practice making others feel guilty in their search for Jesus Christ. I will be answerable, as will you, to the way that we present this wonderful gospel of Jesus Christ. The Holy Bible is the inspired word of God, yet you must understand that God is still at work and is winning souls in many other ways also. My prayer is that you will come to see that God works in many magnificent wonderful ways and that His Words are free to all~Free to all to come to him without feelings of guilt but to open arms of a Loving Saviour who loves each of us unconditionally. My friend~we must go out into the world and present this Gospel so that the world will be saved. My request for you is that you allow God to work in every situation and be willing to accept that fact that God is in Control. Let go and let God work.. It happens best that way~ not through condemning or divising. God Bless you and your family~

What "OTHER WAYS" do you speak of? The word says,
Romans 10:17
"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. "
Not by some stupid book, which is being studied tonight at your so-called "church" by the mens bible study group. Faith only comes by "hearing" God's word, which you hear not. if you could hear it you would know it says,
1 Corinthians 14:34
"Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law."
if you had heard this you wouldn't think of yourself as a church "boss." I know for a fact you and a few others run the "show" at your so-called church. You being the daughter of the last false teacher and all. You will be destroyed in Gehennah fire for your sins if you do not repent ( turn away from your sins).

"The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity."
If your God isn't a life changing force in your life, and he isn't, as you continue in your sins, you will perish. I know for a "fact" you people accept Jeff Newhouse even though the entire "church" knows he is a flaming homosexual. God says,

But the First Church of the Nazarene ignores God's commands and does whatever they please. Gods word says,
Deuteronomy 12:8
"Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes."
And yet you ignore the scripture and do it anyway.

First, we're not friends. I'm not friends with anyone on Facebook. I simply friended them in order to preach to them. Secondly, the "world" will not be saved. Know you not that the word says,

"Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God."
You're a friend of the world. That in itself is enmity with God. The word also says,
1 John 3:13
"Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you."
Why would I want to be friends with the world that hates me? Nonsense! The word further says,
Psalm 139:22
"I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies."
And yet you want to be friends with those that hate you? Nonsense! You are friends with this world and have made yourself the enemy of God almighty. You love the world, not God.
Jesus said,
Luke 14:26
"If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple."
You're not doing this. Your own son was living in sin when I was attending your church. he was "playing house" with a woman who is now his wife. This was one of the very things that prompted me to leave. Jesus said,

"But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea."
Do you own a millstone? Because according to Christ, and your beliefs, you've committed a grevious (spelling?) sin.
If the "world" will be saved, who are these?
Matthew 7:23
"And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
And why did Christ proclaim the world would hate his Church? Your thinking is ridiculous!

The only reason you and I are having this exchange is because I offended Thad Lewsi, Kyle Williams and Eric Scalf. I find it somewhat amusing that Eric is now the "associate pastor" while when I attended church there he never did. He's just a gullible boy, who has no knowledge of God's word whatsoever. You people should be ashamed. But the word predicted,
1 Timothy 4:1-2
"1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron"
And again,
2 Timothy 4:3
"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;"
I guess you'd want to put a boy like Eric Scalf in your pulpit so he can puppet whatever he's told. REPENT!
I post these arguments so that the reader can see the ridiculousness involved in the thinking of those that argue with God's word. This woman is what is called a "church boss." Her father was the pastor opf this church when I was a boy. It amazes me at the amount of control one or two families can have in one of these "false" churches. May God show you his truth, but His will be done.
